EB Gets $62.3M Navy Deal

Electric Boat Corp., Groton, Conn., is being awarded a $62,397,116 fixed-price modification to execute an option under previously awarded contract N00024-04-D-4408, for execution of the fiscal year 2005 Dry-Docking Selected Restricted Availability (DSRA) of USS Connecticut (SSN 22). Work will be performed in Groton, Conn., and is expected to be completed by December 2005. Contract funds in the amount of $61,149,174 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
