Expansion Continues at the Australian Marine Complex

Thursday, May 24, 2007
The expansion of Western Australia’s shipbuilding capabilities is set to continue with the construction of two crucial common-use facilities at the Australian Marine Complex ( AMC ) at Henderson. The State Government has today called for expressions of interest to build a service and repair facility for the local super-yacht industry and a blast and paint facility at the AMC. Industry and Enterprise Minister Francis Logan said the State Government was committed to ensuring the long-term future of the WA shipbuilding industry by planning for these new facilities.
