Ferry Owner Convicted of Pollution Violation

The UK Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) stated that the owner of a cross-channel ferry was fined $28,497 plus costs of $17,807.34 for a marine pollution violation. The ferry had discharged excess oily water through an oily water separator that the owner knew to be defective. Source: HK Law
