GAC Appoints Cox as Marketing Manager

Monday, September 29, 2003
GAC has appointed Matthew Cox as its Marketing Manager for the UK, Ireland, Belgium, Holland and Luxembourg, based in London. Cox joins the company following a career in the British Royal Navy, both at sea and ashore. He replaces Darren Martin, who will shortly move to GAC's Houston office as Marketing Manager, Americas. Neil Godfrey, GAC's Group Sales Director - Shipping Division, confirms that Matthew's appointment is a natural development for the Group's Global Sales Team. "Darren has done a great job in the UK, Ireland and Benelux. The appointment of Matthew ensures market continuity now that Darren relocates to Houston, to take over the management of our ship agency sales and marketing in the Americas", he adds. "We have every confidence that Matthew will do an admirable job, in what is a dynamic and ever-expanding sales territory for GAC."
