The U.S. Port Police will present former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani with the inaugural Fred V. Morrone Memorial Award this evening in Washington, D.C. The Morrone Award will be delivered during the 38th annual International Port Security Conference of the International Association of Airport and Seaport Police (IAASP). The award commemorates the service and sacrifice of the men and women who defend our nation's airports and seaports. It is awarded to individuals who have displayed outstanding leadership and contributions in helping to strengthen our nation's airport, seaport, cargo and transportation security.
