Higorani Appointed GM at Americas Systems

Americas Systems, LLC, the premier provider of innovative information technology solutions for global transportation management, has appointed Naresh Hingorani to the position of General Manager, Products, for transportation management solutions. Mr. Hingorani, a successful entrepreneur and logistics industry thought-leader, will head the company¹s new product development strategy focusing on the international transportation management needs of retailers, manufacturers, importers and exporters. He will report directly to Colin Taylor, Senior Vice President of Marketing & Sales, based in Americas Systems¹ Morristown, N.J., headquarters. ³At a time when our company is developing new transportation management solutions for logistics managers, we are fortunate to have Naresh join our team,² said Michael Simon, Americas Systems President. ³Naresh¹s expertise in transportation management is a valuable asset as we expand our product offering in the international transportation logistics technology market.² Mr. Hingorani has held positions of increasing responsibility in the logistics industry for 10 years. In 2000, he helped launch the ocean transportation management IT company NeoModal. Mr. Hingorani was responsible for all product management and strategy efforts and successfully led several products from concept to deployment, including the NeoSelect ocean procurement and NeoYield yield management software tools.
