Ingram Marine Group, an inland marine transportation companies
, announced the following executive leadership promotions. Dale Heller, former Vice President and Chief Information Officer, has been promoted to Senior Vice President and CIO. Allen Oldham, previously Vice President of Finance and Business Development, and Controller, has been named Senior Vice President and Controller. Jim Lanier, who has served as Assistant Vice President of Internal Audit, Ingram Industries Inc., has been promoted to Vice President, Finance, Support Operations and Analysis.

by realigning these executives with increasing responsibilities," said Craig Philip, President and Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Heller will be responsible for all of Ingram Marine Group's information services departments. He joined Ingram in 1999 as Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Ingram Barge Company
. Prior to joining Ingram, Mr. Heller served as a management consultant with Siemens Nixdorf Information Systems providing leadership and direction for the Retail and Banking Services division of this international company. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Western Kentucky University.
Mr. Oldham will now oversee Ingram Marine Group's accounting function. He came to Ingram Barge Company in 1989 as Vice President and Controller. He was previously Vice President of Finance at Phillips Corporation, Inc. Mr. Oldham is a graduate of Murray State University, holds a Masters degree from the University of Illinois and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Tennessee.
Mr. Lanier will be responsible for the accounting management of all non-barging operations of Ingram Marine Group, and for performing various economic evaluations and accounting analysis. He joined Ingram Industries in 1992 as a Senior Auditor, and he has held various positions of increasing responsibility. He was an Audit Manager with Ernst & Young before coming to Ingram. Mr. Lanier earned a B.B.A. in Accounting and a B.B.A. in Economics from Harding University, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
