ITIC Appoints New Account Executive

The International Transport Intermediaries' Club (ITIC) has welcomed Joanne Thompson to its claims and underwriting team. Thompson has joined as an account executive and is responsible for underwriting claims and marketing to the members of the Club in many countries including India, Israel, Greece, Malta and UK. She joins ITIC from the crew and injury department at Steamship Insurance Management Services Ltd., where she was employed from 1995 following completion of a law degree at Sheffield University. Commenting on the appointment, Stuart Munro, general manager and underwriting director at ITIC, says, "Joanne will add greatly to the strength of the team as she has experience in dealing with shipping matters and is keen to underwrite and market to our members who are spread out all over the world."
