announced that J.
Ray McDermott (J. RAY)has selected its VANTAGE Project Resource Management
(VPRM) to streamline global procurement and materials management processes
for its engineering projects.
Project management and procurement of engineering projects is one of J.
RAY's primary areas of expertise. Already a user of AVEVA's PDMS and VNET
solutions for design, engineering, and project collaboration, J. RAY
selected AVEVA's VPRM after a year of in-depth technical evaluation of
various material management solutions. J. RAY will initially deploy VPRM to
manage multiple projects, utilizing project team members located in both
their Houston and Dubai offices.
