Friday, May 09, 2008

Jo-Kell Inc., an electrical distributor and engineering company, completed their LEAN Enterprise Certification on  April 11, 2008.
Jo-Kell has been implementing LEAN principles since 2007 through their partnership with Northrup Grumman Newport News.
LEAN incorporates principles of identifying value, eliminating waste   and improving processes. In addition, one of the LEAN tenets is an  organized, clean waste free work place.  Jo-Kell’s LEAN initiative  increased productivity and improved operations while reducing cost  within the organization.
