Lang Manufacturing Appoints New CEO

David W. Ek. has been elected as president and CEO of Lang Manufacturing effective, February 12, 2001. Ek succeeds Jack Sparacio, who had held the position for the past seven years and will continue to sit on the board of directors. Ek joined Lang In October of 2000 as executive vice president. Prior to this, he was executive director of Business Development with FSbuy.com, an e-commerce business designed to serve the food service industry.
