Largest Bunker Tanker Launched

According to a June 17 report from The Business Times, Singapore launched the world's largest purpose-built bunker tanker by Hong Lam Marine. The 22,000 deadweight tonne tanker Spectrum, which was launched at Marina at Keppel Bay on June 16 and immediately put into service, is a collaboration between Hong Lam and Toyota Tsusho Corp (TTC). The tanker is estimated to have cost $30m.
