The three engines will be used for electricity production at one of the Group’s many cotton mills. The mill is situated 300 km North of Islamabad and has 7,500 employees. The engines will be supplied with MAN B&W Diesel’s CoCoS monitoring system enabling MAN B&W Diesel, Holeby, to monitor the plants from Denmark and thus help ensure the requisite reliability. The 18V28/32S engines, which are scheduled for delivery in August 2002, each have an output of 4,050 kW.
