MARAD Issues Report

The Maritime Administration (MARAD) issued its quarterly Report on Port and Shipping Safety and Environmental Protection dated July 2002. The report reviews such maritime developments as the recent meetings of the IMO Legal Committee and Maritime Safety Committee, as well as the proposed EPA rule regarding emission standards for certain new marine diesel engines.
