Marine Software Delivers Marine Planned Maintenance System

Maritime Activity Reports, Inc.

July 24, 2002

U.K. based software house Marine Software Ltd has delivered its DNV Type Approved Marine Planned Maintenance System to Saga Shipping for its 580 passenger capacity cruise liner, the MS Sage Rose. Marine Software imported all job descriptions, PM schedule and historical records from Saga Rose’s existing MS-DOS AMOS D system into their Marine Planned Maintenance for Windows system. The vessel was therefore able to continue using their PM system in the new format after only a short interval. Marine Software is able to import data from many existing DOS and windows systems. Global Marine Cable Systems of Singapore have recently been supplied with Marine Planned Maintenance and Marine Stock Control for Windows for their Rocksaw 1000hp rock-trenching tool. Marine Software’s African agency has continued with the Nigerian installation program for Seabulk International’s offshore support vessels, Seabulk Mallard, Seabulk Jasper, Seabulk Connecticut and Seabulk Washington.
