MaritimeTV.com Will Broadcast SOCP Meeting

MaritimeTV.com, an Internet TV channel on the TVWorldwide.com network, announced today that it will provide live web coverage of the Ship Operations Cooperative Program (SOCP) meeting to be held June 11 and 12 at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Philadelphia, PA. The meeting will focus on Maritime Security and Legislative Issues with a full spectrum of industry speakers addressing a range of other maritime issues including technical presentations on Forward Looking Sonar and Ballast water testing. Speakers will be able to communicate with colleagues in the industry who could not attend in person via a live, interactive video webcast. Sponsorship opportunities are still available for the webcast. The webcast will offer worldwide participation on-line and be recorded on video in its entirety and compressed and archived at www.maritimeTV.com through a link from the SOCP web site home page at www.socp.org. Participants should have the free Real Player installed on their browser prior to the event and should log on by 8:45 AM on June11. Technical questions can be directed to 703-961-9250 x223 before and during the event. The event will be archived through a link on the SOCP home page to www.maritimetv.com for later viewing by those who couldn’t attend live and also made available for syndication to interested maritime sites nationwide.
