The US rig count for May 2007 was 1,748, down 3 from the 1,751 counted in April 2007 and up 113 from the 1,635 counted in May 2006. The Canadian rig count for May 2007 was 107, up 6 from the 101 counted in April 2007 and down 133 from the 240 counted in May 2006.
The
worldwide rig count for May 2007 was 2,862, up 26 from the 2,836 counted in April 2007 and up 67 from the 2,795 counted in May 2006.
