McMurdo announces the conditional sale of its Survivor Location Lights business to Danish owned company Daniamant Ltd. Following the sale, the lights will continue to be manufactured in Portsmouth by the newly formed Daniamant Ltd. The business transfer will take place over the month of June, with completion by June 30th. McMurdo has commenced a comprehensive product launch programme including the new RNLI Man Overboard MOB Guardian system unveiled at the Glasgow Fishing Expo, May 16th. Other products launched in the past week include the new Colour Display Navtex Nav7, SVDR Float Free black box for commericial ships and the Smartfind EPIRB.
