Spiro Risvas, Senior Vice President, WMG Shipyards announced the appointment of John McNeill to the position of Manager, Marketing and Sales, WMG Shipyards. McNeill’s former role of Vancouver Shipyard’s Manager, Commercial Accounts has been restructured into this new position, to allow him to identify opportunities and apply his talents across all three WMG shipyard operations.

McNeill will also implement customer service quality control measures, as well as identify new business opportunities and follow-up with existing customers in an effort to improve service and customer value levels.

McNeill has worked at Vancouver Shipyards as Manager, Commercial Accounts since 2006 and prior to that worked as an Account Manager at Weldco Beales Manufacturing in Langley, BC. He has also been a lumber trader for many BC companies including his own, and began his career working in Diesel Engineering with Detroit Diesel.
