Millennium Cell Appoints Lefebvre as COO

Millennium Cell Inc. has created a proprietary technology to safely store, generate and deliver pure hydrogen, today announced the appointment of Roland E. Lefebvre to the position of Chief Operating Officer, effective today. Most recently, Lefebvre, who has had an extensive career in the energy industry, was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of American Superconductor Corp., Westborough, MA. “Millennium Cell is pleased to welcome Roland in this important role,” said Dr. Stephen S. Tang, Millennium Cell President and CEO. “As an emerging energy company, we are pleased to have his experience and depth of knowledge to add to our management team.” “I am looking forward to the new opportunities this role offers, and to working to achieve the impressive goals Millennium Cell has established,” said Lefebvre. “I have admired the early successes of this company and look forward to adding my experience to a talented management team to build new horizons for our company.” Lefebvre was Vice President of Sales and Marketing at American Superconductor Corporation prior to being appointed its Executive Vice President and COO. Prior to his employment at American Superconductor, he held a number of senior sales and marketing management positions at General Electric Company, including that of General Manager Global Account Sales. He received his Bachelor of Science of Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University, Boston, MA.
