According to a December 29, 2008 report from Gulf Shipper, the Port of Mobile Propeller Club presented the USS Alabama Battleship Commission and the National Maritime Museum of the Gulf of Mexico with donations of $4,500 and $17,000 at the organization’s annual Christmas party this month.
