The Maritime Administration (MARAD) and the US Coast Guard issued a notice stating that the final environmental impact statement for the
Neptune LNG LLC liquefied natural gas (LNG) deepwater port (DWP)
license application is available to review. The application describes a project to construct and operate an
LNG DWP in federal waters of Massachusetts Bay approximately eight miles southeast of Gloucester.
Public meetings will be held in Gloucester (November 14) and Salem (November 15). Written comments should be submitted by December 2. 71 Fed. Reg. 64606 (HK Law)
