VapCor Inc. introduced HydraFlow NS Hydraulic & Gear Fluids designed to create a safer workplace in environmentally sensitive areas. HydraFlow NS fluids typically have a pour point of -60°F (-51°C) and an upper operating range of approximately 150°F (65°C). This range of usability enables HydraFlow NS fluids to work in most weather conditions. Unlike mineral oil based lubricants HydraFlow NS fluids do not oxidize over time to form sludge. They also do not break down (hydrolyze) in the presence of water a common problem with polyol ester and vegetable based lubricants.

Many of the HydraFlow NS fluids have minimal environmental impact as shown by passing the following environmental tests:
Biodegradability (readily 74%)    Pass OECD 301B
EPA/Coast Guard Sheen Test    Pass
Plume Test    Pass DI and Sea Water
Aquatic Toxicity    Pass OECD 203 LC50>100 mg/

The newest addition to the HydraFlow NS fluid product line is HydraFlow NS Plus a hydraulic fluid that has been “FM Approved” by FM Global. HydraFlow NS Plus is a general all purpose water glycol hydraulic fluid rated to 5000 psi that is FM approved as fire resistant, which provides a safer working environment than conventional mineral or vegetable oil-based hydraulic fluids.
