NOL Group Announces New Appointments

Move is part of APL and APL Logistics growth strategy in region
, 2 April 2008: Global container shipping, terminals and logistics group Neptune Orient Lines (NOL) has announced a series of key appointments in the fast-growing region.

The new Vice-President for the region is Gene Seroka. He is responsible for the overall management of NOL’s APL, APL Terminals and APL Logistics businesses throughout the Middle East from the Group’s regional HQ in .

Seroka will replace Ong Tuen Suan. Mr Ong has relocated to to take a senior corporate finance position after five successful years as Vice President for the .
Komol Roongruangyot has been appointed Managing Director for the and Head of Middle East Logistics. Mr Roongruangyot was previously Director of APL Logistics in . He will be responsible for container shipping, terminals and logistics activities, and will have a particular focus on the development of logistics activities across the .
Ajit Jangle has been appointed Managing Director for and . He will oversee container shipping and logistics activities, and be responsible for building our terminals business in these markets. Mr Jangle has extensive experience in the region having previously been based in as Director, Logistics for the .

Jangle replaces Ted Muttiah who was appointed Managing Director for in February 2008.
