Panama Canal – EDCS Reminder

The Panama Canal Authority issued an Advisory reminding the maritime community that use of the Electronic Data Collection System (EDCS) is mandatory for transiting ships. Owners and operators of ships that transit the Canal are reminded to initiate their EDCS module accreditation process as soon as possible so as to avoid delays. Advisory No. 38-2004 (HK Law).
