Panama Canal Increase in Mumber of Booking Slots

The Panama Canal Authority issued an advisory stating that, effective January 1, 2008, it will offer one additional booking slot during the third period to regular (non-restricted) vessels. During this period, a maximum of nine slots will be available for regular vessels. Of these, no more than five may be allocated to vessels transiting in the same direction.
