Panama Canal – Maintenance Advisory

The Panama Canal Authority issued an advisory stating that the centerwall culvert of Miraflores Locks will be out of service from November 18 through November 28 for repairs of seven rising stem valves.  This will slow lockages.  The west lane of Gatun Locks will be out of service from November 23 through November 24 for repairs to the vehicular bridge.  Transit Reservation System Condition 1.a will be in effect from November 18 through November 28.  Advisory 30-2008 (11/13/08).
