Peter Döhle Signs Contract with Northrop Grumman

Peter Döhle Schiffahrt, a Hamburg, Germany-based shipping fleet operator, has signed a new service contract with Northrop Grumman Corporation for its diversified fleet of ships.

Under the service agreement, Northrop Grumman’s Sperry Marine business unit will be responsible for all shipboard service, support and maintenance for bridge navigation and communication electronics, including required annual gyrocompass inspections. The Sperry Marine service program will initially cover more than 100 of Peter Döhle’s existing ships and will extend to newbuilds as they come out of warranty.

Sperry Marine will perform onboard service for the Peter Döhle ships through its international network of over 200 service locations in all of the world’s major seaports. Sperry Marine will use its advanced Web-based service program to ensure prompt and efficient shipboard service throughout the world.
