PetroQuest Sells Shares

Lafayette, La.-based PetroQuest Energy Inc. sold an additional 195,000 shares of its 6.875 percent Series B preferred stock. The energy producer received about $70.7 million in proceeds from its recent public stick offering and will use the funds to repay debt and for other corporate purposes. The company is listed on the NASDAQ and its stock is traded under the symbol PQUE
