RCL Signs Letter Of Intent For Two Vessels

Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. signed a letter of intent with Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany to build the third and fourth Vantage class vessels. RCL officials said the total contract price for the two ships was $800 million. The deal includes options for two more ships. RCL officials said the vessels, as yet unnamed, are scheduled for delivery in June 2003 and June 2004.
