The two-year commitment is planned to begin in January 2009 and expected to provide approximately $137 million in drilling revenues. The rig will be performing drilling services as well as assisting with various construction projects.

Rowan Companies Inc. provides international and domestic contract drilling services and owns and operates a manufacturing division that produces equipment for the drilling, mining and timber industries.
