Royal Caribbean International And Celebrity Cruises Planning Normal Cruising Schedules

Wednesday, September 12, 2001
Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., like everyone, is devastated by yesterday's tragedy, but expects all of its Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises ships to maintain their normal cruising schedules throughout this week and beyond.

The company's offices remain in operation with reservations personnel currently available on a 24-hour basis; RCCL is also working with travel agents and U.S. port authorities to ensure the normal operations of both fleets.

The situation in New York will be monitored on a continual basis allowing the company to use the coming days to determine if any changes are needed regarding its Bermuda cruises, that depart from and return to New York.
