Seafarer US Pipeline System – EIS

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) issued a Notice stating that it is preparing an environmental impact statement (EIS) to discuss the impacts of the Seafarer U.S. Pipeline System project. The project, as proposed, involves a submarine pipeline to carry natural gas from the Bahamas to Florida. A public scoping meeting will be held in Palm Beach Shores, Florida on January 19, 2005. Written comments on the proposal should be submitted by January 20. 69 Fed. Reg. 75946 (HK Law).
