Severn Trent de Nora Introduce Omnipure

Wednesday, September 18, 2002
Severn Trent de Nora (STDN) introduced the Omnipure 6MR, a versatile marine sewage treatment system designed to meet the economic and space requirements of all small to mid-sized vessels in the marine industry. The system’s “ribbon” cell design requires no additional manual cleaning and enables the unit to operate under normal marine sewage conditions. Combined with the low cost of the replaceable cell, the Omnipure 6MR offers customers an economic and easy-to-maintain marine sewage treatment system. This compact, modular treatment system is United States Coast Guard (USCG) and International Maritime Organization (IMO) certified and meets stringent environmental standards governing the discharge of wastewater into territorial waters. STDN’s patented marine on-site generation technology uses seawater and electricity to produce an effective sodium hypochlorite disinfection solution for marine sewage treatment.
