SNAME – Panel on Oily Wastewater and Bilgewater

The Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (SNAME) established a new Panel EC-3 on Oily Wastewater and Bilgewater. The mission of the panel (which succeeds an earlier ad hoc panel) is to research and identify the range of problems of shipboard oily wastewater and bilgewater management systems. The panel is seeking technical and financial support from responsible agencies, companies, and organizations to develop workable and technically grounded solutions.
