Statoil Cuts Gas Estimates 10-20%

Statoil cut estimates of recoverable gas reserves at the Kvitebjoern prospect in the North Sea by 10 to 20 percent. The company said it and its partners -- Elf and Norsk Hydro -- were now reassessing whether the prospect was commercially viable.
