Northrop Grumman Corporation's Newport News sector announced two promotions. Becky Stewart is promoted to vice president, Surface Ship
and Submarine Fleet Maintenance and Veasey Wilson is promoted to vice president, Supply Chain Management.
Stewart, who previously served as director for Surface Ship and Submarine Fleet Maintenance, is responsible for all aspects of naval and
commercial surface ship and submarine fleet maintenance from pre-contract through delivery.

Northrop Grumman corporate vice president and president of its Newport News sector. She began her career at Newport News in 1982 as a technical
planner and has held positions of increased responsibility including
manager, Strategic Planning; manager, Computer Administration and
Control; manager, Systems Development and Customer Service; director,
Life Cycle Engineering and program director, Ship Repair.
Stewart earned a bachelor's degree in business administration
from Christopher Newport University and a master's degree in business
administration from the College of William and Mary.
Wilson previously served as executive director for Supply Chain
Management. He joined the company in 1997 and is responsible for all
material operations across the sector, which includes sourcing,
logistics, supplier quality, material operations, and supply chain
business planning, analysis and efficiency. He is also responsible for
collaborating with Northrop Grumman's Ship Systems sector to identify
and implement cross-sector opportunities for material cost savings.
"Veasey's efforts have greatly streamlined our supply chain
processes and have both improved relations with the supplier and
customer communities and resulted in material cost savings," said
Schievelbein.
A member of Northrop Grumman's Corporate Material Council,
Wilson also served as director, Supply Chain Management. Wilson earned
a bachelor's degree in business administration from Virginia State
University and a master's degree in business management from Central
Michigan University.
