SynchroSlot Finds The Openings

SynchroNet Marine Inc. launched its SynchroSlot service, which enables customers to inexpensively reposition empty equipment and access incremental revenue generating opportunities. The new service is accessible via customer's existing Internet connections, or if customers prefer the personal touch, by telephone, fax or email. The SynchroSlot service covers all trade lanes throughout the world; assisting container owners to find slots in order to inexpensively reposition empty equipment to demand locations, thus ensuring improved asset utilization. SynchroSlot also enables vessel operators to generate revenue for unutilized space on their vessels. SynchroSlot has already proven itself to be an effective cost saving service; GE SeaCo the world's leading container lessor recently utilized the slot service and, working closely with SynchroNet personnel, was able to reposition 40ft Reefers to demand areas in both Europe and the US West Coast quickly and cost effectively. "SynchroNet continues to invest in solutions that will enable customers to reduce costs," said Jerry W. Deems, president and CEO of SynchroNet Marine Inc. "SynchroSlot provides customers with an additional tool to assist them in improving asset utilization, reduce operating costs and increase revenue." SynchroSlot utilizes SynchroNet's state-of-the-art Cooperative Access System(TM) (CAS) software to match customer's surplus/deficit data with comprehensive vessel schedule data to produce valid empty repositioning opportunities. The SynchroSlot notice board is populated by win-win opportunities and placed on the SynchroNet website for easy access. Customers have the option to utilize SynchroSlot through their web browser or contact SynchroNet directly by telephone, fax or email. SynchroNet representatives consist of a dedicated team of industry professionals trained to help customers accomplish their business goals.
