TechnoFibre Moves into New Building

TechnoFibre of Singapore has moved into a new building on its existing location in Jurong, Singapore. Its new boat yard boasts a 10,000 sq. ft. covered workshop and a storage yard of 20,000 sq. ft. It has also developed its waterfront berthing area to facilitate the testing of lifeboats, such as speed, drop and water spray testing. Its waterfront boat yard allows the larger Tendor lifeboats workboats from cruise and naval vessels to be landed ashore for repairs and maintenance. The workshop incorporates a 3,000 sq. ft. mechanical section, which undertakes engine repairs and overhauls On-Load release system repairs and overhauls and other mechanical works pertaining to lifeboats and davits. TechnoFibre’s has also incorporated a training room to accommodate 30 trainees. The state of the art training room will serve to train its technicians from all its affiliated companies worldwide.
