Thompson Named VP of Connector Specialists

Larry Thompson has been named vice president of operations for Connector Specialists Inc. Thompson joined the hose and fitting specialists in 1996 as a salesman in the Baton Rouge office. His territory covered the Gulf Coast region of Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas. Connector Specialists has three locations - New Orleans, Baton Rouge and Lafayette. As vice president of operations, Thompson works with owner-president Ed Sutton on day-to-day operations of the company. He is a member of the company's board of directors. "Larry's skills will help us continue to grow in a highly competitive market," Sutton said. "He knows the business, especially what our customers need." Thompson has 38 years of sales and management experience, having worked in the oil and gas industry since being discharged from the U.S. Marine Corps in 1964. He also served eight years on the Board of Commissioners for the St. Tammany Fire Protection District #12.
