Transas Simulator Complex Procured for University of Ljubljana

The simulator complex from Transas has been nstalled in University of Ljubljana at the Faculty of Maritime Studies and Transport, Portoroz, Slovenia. The comprehensive set of the installed simulators consists of: Engine Room Simulator 4000 version 7.2, including Tanker LCC one full mission trainee workplace (main diesel, electric plant, auxiliary and cargo systems); GMDSS 4100 with one instructor station plus eight trainee workstations; PISCES-II in configuration of one instructor station plus five trainee workstations; Navi-Trainer Professional 4000 incorporating three bridges with Conning display, Conning visual 4000, radar, ECDIS and navaids each; and one workplace comprising Navi Harbour 3.7 demo license version. All of the abovementioned equipment is located in one premise and running joint exercise presently, apart from the AIS Monitor, located separately and recording data from police radar. GMDSS is also installed on all the bridges, in a configuration which integrates one workstation on each bridge.
