Tug Purchased by Offshore Rig Moving

Offshore Rig Moving, Larose, La., an affiliate of Offshore Towing, Inc., has purchased ocean-going tug Theresa B. The vessel has been renamed M/V J.A. Hardy. The vessel was repowered in 1985 with Cat 3516 engines with Kort nozzles, and has an ABS loadline certificate. The company markets 10 ocean-going tugs, primarily for the movement of jackups and semi-submersible rigs in the Gulf of Mexico.
