TWIC Contract Awarded

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has awarded a contract to field-test various technologies that will lead to a common and universally recognized Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC). When operational, the TWIC will be used by all U.S. transportation workers requiring unescorted access to secure areas of transportation facilities, including vessels.
