Vineberg joins Scandinavian Shipping

Friday, July 16, 2004
Scandinavian Shipping Agencies AB (SSA) has appointed Niclas Vineberg to the position of Business Manager with specific responsibilities for the Swedish activities of the leading Norwegian ro-ro operator HUAL. He will be located in SSA's Gothenburg office.

SSA, a member of the Björk.Eklund Group, has represented HUAL since February 2002.

Prior to joining SSA, Mr Vineberg was employed as Freight Booking Manager with Stena, one of the world's largest ro-ro ferry operators, also based in Gothenburg. Before that, he worked with Hyundai Merchant Marine's car carrier division, thus bringing invaluable automotive ro-ro expertise to SSA.

Stuart Smith, Managing Director of SSA, explained that the company had been keen to hire a senior manager with solid knowledge of the ro-ro market:

"We are strengthening our team and with more than eight years' experience working in-house with three major ro-ro operators, Niclas suited our needs perfectly. He will play a leading role in looking after valued customers such as HUAL and in managing the Scandinavian Shipping team in Gothenburg."
