Willbros Unit Names Hamilton a Vice President

Willbros Group Inc. announced that one of its operating units, Willbros Engineers Inc., Tulsa, Okla., has promoted Lonnie Hamilton to vice president of business development.

Hamilton has over 23 years of business and project development experience in the oil and gas industry, including 18 years with Willbros. Before joining Willbros in 1983, Hamilton held positions in both the manufacturing and operating sectors of the pipeline industry. Hamilton will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies for the entire range of project management, engineering and construction services, including engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services. He earned his B.B.A. degree from Baylor University.

Jim Beasley, president of Willbros Engineers Inc., commented, "Lonnie Hamilton has been an important part of our management team and has played a major role in the growth of our company.
