Zurich Forms Focus Group

Zurich U.S. has reorganized its Marine Group to expand upon the group's focus on multiple marine lines and to support its efforts to work with both customers and producers on a variety of marine exposures. The new Zurich U.S. marine organization, based in New York encompasses a new leader; five practice leaders and streamlined regional leadership.

Wayne Krause, the former head of Global Marine, HO Zurich, will run the Marine Group as chief underwriting officer. Based in New York, Krause succeeds Gus Gonzalez, marine group director, who is retiring.

The company also elected practice leaders for its five target market segments. They are as follows: Andrew Forbis, Cargo; Gordon Lewis, Blue Water Hull; Dan Lord, liabilities; and Howard Kingston, Fine Art/Specie. IN addition, Mike MacCrory was named business development manager.
