Bouygues Offshore has been awarded a contract with the Shell Petroleum Development Company
of Nigeria Limited
for the pipelines aspect of the Cawthorne Channel integrated
project in Nigeria.
The estimated value of the scope is $60 million. It calls for engineering, procurement, laying and commissioning of pipelines. For a total of 74 km with diameter from 4" to 24", the pipelines will be installed in the swamp area of the Niger Delta, south of Port Harcourt
. The project duration is 19 months.
