Another Carnival Cruise Ship Medevac

U.S. Coast Gurard Miami report that a  57-year-old male passenger aboard the cruise ship 'Carnival Sensation' was medically evacuated after suffering an injury 43 nautical miles east of Boca Raton, Florida.

After consulting with the flight surgeon, a medical evacuation was recommended due to the accute severity of the passenger's injury. An MH-65 helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station Miami launched to respond to the report.

Upon arriving on scene, the man was safely hoisted into the helicopter then transported to St. Mary’s Hospital Regional Trauma Center.
