On August 14 at 8 a.m., an expansion/Panama Canal tour will be held for guests to view the expansion construction site and the current locks.

An event at Miraflores Locks will be held August 15 at 7 a.m. to commemorate the opening of the Panama Canal, followed that night at 5:30 p.m. by the Centennial Gala, an artistic and musical event commemorating the canal’s 100 years and recreating the main moments of the construction of the Canal and its impact.
