Lindsay‐Blee, Master Fuel Partner in Colombia

Marine fuel company Lindsay‐Blee said Wednesday it has entered into an exclusive marketing and distribution agreement with Master Fuel SAS of Cartagena, Colombia.Effective immediately, under the agreement Lindsay‐Blee will manage the sales and marketing of marine fuel products produced by Master Fuel for the Colombian market, including VLSFO (0.50% sulphur max,) HSFO 380 cst, and MGO LS (Max sulphur 0.10%.) All products will conform to ISO standards and are composed from lower‐sulphur straight‐run fuels.

ScanOcean, Neste Pact for Low-Sulfur Bunker Fuel

Finland oil refining and marketing company Neste Corporation and Swedish bunker and marine fuels provider ScanOcean AB enter into cooperation in delivering Neste’s low-sulfur marine fuel. ScanOcean AB is now an official reseller for Neste’s 0.1% marine fuel products on the East Coast of Sweden. Gulf Petrochem Sets Up Russian & Baltic Trading Desk

Gulf Petrochem Group (GP) has further strengthened its European bunkering division by establishing a Russian and Baltic trading desk within the Rotterdam office. Boris Kuftyrev has been appointed to manage this desk overseen by Chris Todd in Europe’s largest bunkering port, Rotterdam. Kuftyrev has in-depth knowledge and experience having previously held the position of head of sales at Gazpromneft Marine Bunker ltd. He joins GP’s ever expanding back-to-back bunker team and will specifically look to develop the group’s presence in the Russian and Baltic region.

Cosco Shipping 2016 Profit Dip

Cosco Shipping International (Hong Kong) has seen its profit for the year ended December 31, 2016 drop 29 percent to HKD 236.5 million (USD 30.4 million) from HKD 362 million (USD 46.6 million) reported a year earlier. Although the company’s operating profit dropped to HKD 544.2 million for the full year from HKD 690.7 million reported in 2015, Cosco Shipping International said that its revenue for the period increased to HKD 7.4 billion from HKD 5.9 billion. In 2016, world economy has experienced deep adjustment, while international trade growth remained subdued. The international shipping market supply and demand remained unbalanced, while dry bulk shipping index and container freight rate index had hit a record low last year.

UAE based global bunker supplier Gulf Petrochem Group is now offering physical bunker supply in the port of Antwerp, Belgium from its existing office in Rotterdam, the Netherlands with immediate effect. Gulf Petrochem Group Expands European Bunker Operations

Gulf Petrochem Group, the UAE based global bunker supplier, has announced that it is now officially offering physical bunker supply in the port of Rotterdam, out of its new office based in Dordrecht. The office will cater to the group’s global customers and provide them with a wide portfolio of marine fuel products such as 380cst and LSGO from two exclusive time chartered barges, the Virage and the Arctic. Both barges have a capacity of 3,000 dwt (deadweight tonnage) and pumping capacity of 960cbm/hour and 800cbm/hour respectively.

Ecoslops to Implement Recycling Unit in the Romanian Port of Constanta

Ecoslops has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Grup Servicii Petroliere (GSP), a leading offshore drilling and construction company, to conduct a feasibility study for the development of an oil residues processing plant in the Romanian Port of Constanta, on the Black Sea. Ecoslops is the first company to develop technology to produce recycled marine fuels from marine oil residues (slops). "The Port of Constanta is ideally located, and GSP is the ideal partner to collaborate with on the development of this significant project, given their wealth of industrial experience and in-depth knowledge of the region,” he added. Ecoslops Produces First Marine Fuel Prodcuts

Ecoslops' refinery in the Port of Sinès, Portugal, has commenced industrial production and delivered the first volume of marine fuel products compliant with ISO8217, validating the company’s commercial proposition, the company announced today. Ecoslops has also made two senior appointments, further developing its global infrastructure, including new facilities. In the third quarter of 2015, 3,200 metric tons of slops were imported from Northern Europe, in conjunction with slops collected in the port, mainly at the oil terminal and from MSC, the leading global container shipping company.

Gasoil Availability Expands on Gulf Coast

MGO and ECA products are available in volume throughout the Gulf Coast. Atlantic Gulf Bunkering LLC, a division of Bunkers International LLC, announced today that the company has expanded availability of both MGO and ECA product that meets the 2015 ECA specification of 0.1% (1,000 ppm) maximum sulfur. The company has expanded its owned barging capacity, storage and third-party trucking availability. “We are seeing great demand for MGO and ECA products,” said John Canal, CEO of Bunkers International Corp., “With the 2015 regulatory changes, demand has surged, and we have scaled up our operation to meet that demand. The ECA product being offered by Atlantic Gulf Bunkering is a fuel oil product that has a low pour point, high flash point, low metals and viscosity similar to IFO 30.

Aegean Marine Begins Gulf of Mexico Operations

Aegean Marine to commence operations in the Gulf of Mexico; assumes charter agreements for two vessels. OW Bunker, Petrocosta Collaborate in Latin America

OW Bunker has entered into a partnership with Petrocosta CI SA, a Colombian fuel marketing and transportation company. The agreement will further develop OW Bunker’s physical distribution network of marine fuel in Colombia and support its growth across Latin America. Petrocosta’s responsibilities will include the sourcing, blending, storage and transportation of marine fuel products.
